Whittle Gardens, Phase 1

Brief

In July 2024, we successfully completed the firestopping works for “Whittle Gardens” in Gloucester for Taylor Wimpey. The project spanned three blocks, comprising a total of 27 apartments. Our work included firestopping each apartment and all communal areas within each block. 

Execution

Each block of the project took between 1 to 2 months to complete, with 1 to 2 operatives assigned to each block on site working alongside our core team at HQ. Our team efficiently managed the firestopping of each apartment and communal area, carefully applying the appropriate solutions for every service penetration.  

Partnerships

To kick-start the project, we worked with the clients plans and brief before inputting all data into Bolster Systems, which we then track throughout the duration of the project. We also collaborated closely with both Quelfire and Rockwool, utilising their high-quality firestopping products to ensure the work was completed to the highest standards. These partnerships with trusted suppliers allowed us to implement the best possible fire protection measures while maintaining strict adherence to all safety and compliance regulations.
