
Optimum in collaboration with main contractor Galliford Try today handed over a container home for Bristol based charity Help Bristol’s Homeless. This 2-month project culminating in todays handover ceremony.
Help Bristol’s Homeless is a registered charity with a mission to change the face of homelessness in Bristol. Their vision is to develop a site of ten containers, converted into self-contained studio flats, providing temporary accommodation until a service user can find a more permanent home. Their ethos is that housing must come first, and then everything else comes after.
Optimum provide a range of services and support including drywall partitioning, painting, flooring and general help!
Chris Fitzpatrick who by day, heads up Optimum’s Fire Stopping Division was instrumental in driving the project to completion and would like to extend his thanks to SIG, Woodstock, Johnstones St Philips and the Colour Centre Bristol for their kind donations of materials, as well as his Optimum colleagues for their support.
Optimum Managing Director Simon Britton commented ‘we are proud to support projects like these in our own city, where homelessness is a growing issue on our streets, Jasper and the team are doing an exceptional job’
